northernrags.co.uk is an online service of Northern Rags (16 Poulton Street, Fleetwood, Lancashire, FY7 6LP), providing sales for personal use of clothing, footwear and accessories. All images that appear on the website have been taken with great care; however the colour clarity may vary between the natural eye and your computer monitor. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of any colour.
It is very important that the information you supply to our website is accurate, complete and relates specifically to you, the customer. If any of your personal details change, you should advise us of the changes by email; firstname.lastname@example.org.
You must agree not to use or copy the identity of any other person, or provide any name of which you are not authorised to use. By using our site, you will agree to be bound by our terms & conditions. Please note that we may change our terms and conditions from time to time, at our discretion. Any use of northernrags.co.uk website after any changes to the terms & conditions have been made will mean that you have agreed to accept any changes.
PLACING YOUR ORDER
By placing your order you have agreed to pay the price as stated at the time of purchase. Following the successful completion of your order you will receive a confirmation email from northernrags.co.uk, this is to state that your order has been received. You will then receive a further email from northernrags.co.uk when you order has been despatched.
We will contact you via email at the earliest opportunity should any of the items that you have ordered be out of stock. In such event northernrags.co.uk will look to identify a suitable replacement product(s) and will provide details of the relevant replacement(s) for your approval. Should northernrags.co.uk be unable to identify a suitable replacement(s) then a refund for the out of stock item(s) will be issued. Your order is accepted by northernrags.co.uk at the point when you receive our email confirming that your goods have been dispatched.
We may not accept your order if:
The item ordered is out of stock.
We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.
We find any product or pricing error.
A product fails our internal quality checks.
northernrags.co.uk reserves the right to reject any offer of purchase by you at any time; any such rejection is at our sole discretion.

RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS
Northern Rags offer a reservation service where any customer may request to reserve an item or items for a maximum period of 3 months. On the day of reserving any item(s) a minimum deposit of £10 or 20% of the item(s) value (whichever is greater) would be required. Customers can then pay any amount of further deposits within the maximum 3 month period. All deposits paid would be loaded onto a Northern Rags savings card so that customers have a record of any deposits paid at all times. Should any customer fail to complete their payment plan by the end of the 3 month period then the item(s) would be returned to stock and any deposit(s) paid would be lost.
CUSTOMER LOYALTY CASHBACK SCHEME
Here at Northern Rags we hugely appreciate and love to reward our customers who come back to us time after time. Our Customer Loyalty Cashback Scheme means that you will constantly be reminded of this as when you place any order for full priced merchandise you will receive Customer Loyalty Cashback. The only exception to this would be if any specific garments are reduced in any SALE or promotion. Any garments that are reduced in any SALE or promotion will not be eligible for Customer Loyalty Cashback.
How does the Northern Rags Customer Loyalty Cashback Scheme Work?
As a customer you are awarded Customer Loyalty Cashback for everything that you purchase across the Northern Rags website, it‘s as simple as that! As a brand new customer you will initially receive/earn 5% Customer Loyalty Cashback from any purchase that you make. Your specific rate of Customer Loyalty Cashback will increase or decrease according to your frequency of shopping with Northern Rags.
Standard Card/Account 5%, Platinum Card/Account 10%, Black Card/Account 15%
How do I start collecting Customer Loyalty Cashback?
New customers visiting the Northern Rags website for the first time will have a unique Customer Loyalty Cashback account automatically created for them upon completing their purchase. This unique account will be identified by a code that we will supply to you following the shipping of your order. Any Customer Loyalty Cashback earned from this initial transaction or any future transaction will be allocated to your unique account, Customer Loyalty Cashback can then be spent or redeemed at your leisure.
Returning customers who already have a unique Customer Loyalty Cashback account with us will have their Customer Loyalty Cashback automatically added to their specific account and do not need to do anything further.
When will my Customer Loyalty Cashback be added?
Customer Loyalty Cashback rewards are allocated to your account once your order has been processed. Upon completion of shipping you will receive full email confirmation with tracking information relating to your order. This email will also include details of your Customer Loyalty Cashback earnings both for this specific order and your cumulative total.
How do I redeem my Customer Loyalty Cashback?
Customer Loyalty Cashback accumulates in your unique account and can be redeemed during check-out against any future order. This means you can either collect Customer Loyalty Cashback with each purchase you make and save/build this up or alternatively you can choose to redeem your Customer Loyalty Cashback against or to pay for your next order, it’s totally up to you.
What is Customer Loyalty Cashback worth?
As a brand new customer of Northern Rags you are awarded 10% Customer Loyalty Cashback for everything that you purchase across the Northern Rags website (this does not include shipping fees). For example; a purchase of £100 plus £4.50 shipping (total£104.50) would result in £5.00 of Customer Loyalty Cashback being added to your unique account. It’s very easy for you to quickly rack up a formidable chunk of Customer Loyalty Cashback!
The percentage of Customer Loyalty Cashback that you receive/earn can and will increase if you’re shopping with Northern Rags frequently. The percentage of Customer Loyalty Cashback that you receive/earn can also decrease should your frequency of shopping with Northern Rags decrease or cease.

How much Customer Loyalty Cashback can I redeem in one transaction?
There is currently no limit for the redemption of your Customer Loyalty Cashback. Customer Loyalty Cashback can be redeemed up to 100% of your order value.
Look out for Bonus Promotions!
Although you will be earning standard Customer Loyalty Cashback for everything that you purchase from us at Northern Rags, occasionally we will also run exciting Bonus Promotions against some of our brands or specific garments.
Bonus Promotions will include DOUBLE Customer Loyalty Cashback on selected brands or specific garments!
What happens if I don’t use my Customer Loyalty Cashback?
Customer Loyalty Cashback will remain in your unique account for 12 months from the date of allocation. Any Customer Loyalty Cashback still in your account after the 12 months will expire and will no longer be valid for redemption.
All prices displayed are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
Local import taxes may be applied to deliveries outside the UK, any such additional taxes will be your responsibility. The customs office may hold your goods until the local import taxes are not paid.

United Arab Emirates
All orders are shipped via recorded (signed for) delivery or courier service and goods will be insured. Dispatch times will depend upon the time that each order is placed and will be subject to any specific delivery upgrades or requests. northernrags.co.uk will endeavour to dispatch all orders on the day that the order is placed so that you have your goods at the earliest opportunity.
All goods will be insured during the time that your package is in transit, up until the point that your package is delivered to you. A signature is required and is mandatory for any goods ordered/delivered. Upon signing for acceptance of your delivery the responsibility for your purchased goods passes over to you accordingly. If you have specified for a recipient other than yourself to receive and sign for your goods then you accept that evidence of any such signature (at your specified delivery address) is proof of successful delivery and fulfillment of your order by northernrags.co.uk.
Our UK standard delivery service is Royal Mail Recorded delivery.
All orders will be dispatched upon completion of payment. Orders will be dispatched via courier or the Royal Mail Recorded Delivery Service to ensure prompt and safe delivery is achieved.
The cut off point for potential next day delivery is 4pm on the day of ordering. All orders placed prior to 4pm will be dispatched on the day of ordering. Orders placed prior to 4pm on a Friday are not guaranteed to arrive on the Saturday unless an extra shipping charge is paid.
The relevant delivery charge will be based upon the value of your order and is not charged per item. The minimum charge for delivery is £4.50.
Northernrags.co.uk are happy to quote for or provide any upgrade to our standard delivery service should you have any specific needs or requests. Please provide relevant details of your request to; email@example.com we will then provide all relevant details including any additional charges to be incurred should you proceed. Any SATURDAY delivery requests will be classed as upgrades and in most cases these requests will result in additional charges being incurred/added to your order. Please note that any requests for a UK Saturday delivery must be placed by 4:00pm on the previous Friday. These orders would then qualify to arrive on Saturday.
Please also note that any orders placed over the Bank Holiday period will not be dispatched until the Tuesday following the Bank Holiday. northernrags.co.uk apologise for any inconvenience caused during Bank Holiday’s.

International and European Orders / Delivery
Please also note that in the interest of credit card / fraud detection and prevention it is our company policy to undertake several checks to ensure the validity of any transaction before any goods are dispatched overseas. For your security northernrags.co.uk requires verification by means of a bank statement before any international/European order is dispatched / accepted. This verification can be provided via Email; firstname.lastname@example.org.
The appropriate delivery charge for International or European orders will be dependent upon the selected delivery destination and the requested delivery service. All International or European delivery requests should be emailed to; email@example.com. Northernrags.co.uk will then provide all relevant details including any additional charges to be incurred should you proceed.
Northern Rags are confident that you will be happy with your purchase(s). However in the event that you are not completely satisfied with your order we will be happy to offer you a refund for the value of the product(s) purchased. In order to do so the item(s) must be in new, unworn condition with all packaging and garment tags still attached. We cannot accept any used item(s); such items will be directly returned to the purchaser.
To return unsuitable item(s) you must contact us (see below) within 48 hours of receiving your ordered item(s). northernrags.co.uk will require the following information from you should you wish to return any item(s); your name, your specific order ID, relevant details of the item(s) that you wish to return and the reason for the return.
Items must be returned via a recorded courier service such as DHL or Royal Mail recorded delivery. In order to arrange DHL shipment please call 0870 2 400 555 (UK customers only) or via the website www.dhl.com . Please also refer to the DHL website for shipping charges which will be incurred. Please note all returns must be sent via recorded signed delivery, Northern Rags can take no responsibility for returned items until signed for by Northern Rags.
Items should be returned to the following address with full details of the return enclosed: Northern Rags, 16 Poulton Street, Fleetwood, Lancashire, FY7 6LP.
Unsuitable items will only be refunded when returned within 14 days of receipt. Returns received after the 14 day time frame will only be accepted at the discretion of Northern Rags. All correctly returned items will only be credited to the account from which the original purchase was made. All refunds will be subject to any taxes or import duties incurred in receiving the returned delivery.
Northernrags.co.uk advises all customers to check received items thoroughly upon receipt of goods, prior to removing and disposing of labels or original packaging.

All credit/debit card payments are subject to validation by the issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment, we will either cancel your order or seek payment by an alternative method. If this should result in a delay in dispatching your goods then northernrags.co.uk cannot be held responsible.
Payment methods include: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Solo, Switch and Delta. We take customer security very seriously and every effort is taken to protect your personal details using Worldpay.
We do not hold your debit/credit card details on our website or on our customer database.
PASSING OF PROPERTY AND RISK
northernrags.co.uk will retain legal ownership of all purchased items until full payment has been made by you, and the payment has been successfully received by northernrags.co.uk. Legal ownership of any items will immediately revert back to northernrags.co.uk in the event that we refund any payment to you.
We grant you a limited licence to access and make personal use of the northernrags.co.uk website. Please note that you may not copy any portion of the northernrags.co.uk website without prior written consent which may be withheld in our absolute discretion.
You are granted a limited revocable and non-exclusive right to create a link to the home page of the website for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not link to any page of the website other than the home page. We may at our discretion request that you remove any link to the website, and upon receiving such request you shall immediately remove such a link.

This invitation cannot be passed on to any other person without the consent of northernrags.co.uk. If passed on to any other person without consent then the invitation will become void.

As a valued customer of northernrags.co.uk you may have the privilege of attending any New Arrivals or Sale Preview Evenings. These events will give you the opportunity to view and purchase any New Arrivals or Sale stock before the New Arrivals are officially available or before the Sale officially starts to the general public.
